Wade Emory is the president of Wade’s Motor, Inc. He was born and raised in Asheville, NC. He graduated from Asheville High School. He moved to Kingsport, TN and attended East Tennessee State University where he received his B.A. degree in Business Management in 1987. Subsequent to moving to east Tennessee and while attending ETSU, Wade worked at several of the local new and used automobile dealerships. There he held the positions of salesman, finance manager and sales manager. Having always wanted to own his own business, prior to opening Wade’s Motors, Wade started and successfully operated a small retail business. Then in 1991, he opened Wade’s Motors in Kingsport. Over the past 15 years, Wade has expanded his operations into Virginia for a total of three locations. Wade is happily married and has two wonderful daughters. One daughter attends Northeast State Community College and also works part-time at Wade’s Motors. His youngest daughter is a junior in high school. Wade and his family are members of Celebration Church. He enjoys all sports, especially NASCAR racing and he also enjoys traveling with his family, being involved with his daughters’ school-related activities, and working with young adults. Wade treats people like he likes to be treated. This personal philosophy carries over to his business relationships. That’s why Wade says “Once a customer, always a friend”. |
